John Bassett theatre is a great venue for concerts and musical performances. With a capacity of around 1100, it has an orchestra level and a balcony. Both are very well designed and the stage is clearly visible from both. The acoustics is great and you can hear crisp and clear sound from both levels.

I had an amazing theatrical experience at John Bassett Theatre. The sounds, lights and seats were top notch. The staff was friendly except when the show ended they were asking to leave immediately. The location is awesome in Downtown Toronto. You can get some green parking nearby or at the convention centre as well. Overall a pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend.
Watched the Flamenco show by the Opera house of Madrid. Spectacular performance by artists. I loved and enjoyed every minute of it. Very engaging and intense experience. A true essence of Spain in Toronto.

Authentic Flamenco - Fantastic show with so much passion and emotion! We got the VIP Package which got us assigned seating closer to the stage. It also offered us an opportunity to take a picture with the performers after the show. The show was so good! I wish it went longer.
A well choreographed Flamenco dream . Dance, music , culture and artistic talent combined with a rhapsody of rhythm and footwork.My VIP status well earned and rewarded , I had a chance to be photographed with the Stars of the Night and show...makes me feel like the Phantom of the Flamenco Opera this night. Went to see a Stand up comedy show by Gaurav Gupta. Its a well designed and well maintained theatre venue with comfortable seats, good lighting and acoustics. The staff & security is friendly too. Enjoyed the show and the venue.
We had a great time and enjoyed the authenticity of the flamenco dancers.
